what we love

Mythos is a home for prose, poetry, and art that is inspired by mythology. We look for work that is character-driven, that showcases how myths, magic, and legends live within us every day—especially through magical realism and speculative fiction.

We publish a digital issue every quarter, and print a book at the end of the cycle featuring all accepted works. Every quarter, we will select first-place and second-place winners for two categories: written work and visual artwork.
